How it works

Auto-fix

What Auto-fix tries and how it decides whether a change helps.

Auto-fix tries a small set of changes to routes and positions, then compares the resulting drawings. It applies a change only when quality improves. When two repairs work equally well, it keeps the one that changes less.

Try a change, keep it only if it helps

  1. 01CompileBlocked if source is invalid
  2. 02Check the drawingReturn unchanged when clean
  3. 03Try view changesRoutes, placements, or full view
  4. 04Reject new hard findingsCheck the affected elements too
  5. 05Compare resultsRequire a clear improvement
  6. 06Keep the smallest changeUsed when quality ties

Each strategy is tested separately.

A repair cannot introduce a new hard finding, even if it removes several others. The engine checks which elements each finding affects, not just the total. Soft findings and warnings can change if the overall quality comparison improves.

What the result means

ResultMeaning
repairedA better view was found and applied
unchangedThe drawing is clean or needs no edit
unresolvedNone of the candidates safely improved it
blockedSource or validation errors need fixing first

Review the result before keeping it. Auto-fix can remove manual routes or saved positions; it does not rewrite the architecture or its brief.
